Delivery is available in County Dublin, Kildare, Louth, Meath and Wicklow.

Please make a note of the following Important Delivery Information

Our pallet deliveries are handled by the Pallet Network depot. They will generally call ahead to arrange home deliveries. However, please note that this may not always be possible. In such cases, please leave a note to ensure that your delivery can be left in a secure area if you are not available to receive it.  

Although delivery is made to the kerbside, our drivers are known to go above and beyond to ensure that our pallets are placed in the most suitable location for you. It would be helpful for you to be present on the day of delivery to lend a hand.

Please provide specific instructions on where you would like the delivery to be left in the “special instructions for seller” section before checkout. Alternatively, you can contact us on 083 3430450 to discuss your delivery preferences.

Orders over 120 euros qualify for Free Delivery, while a delivery fee of €45 applies to smaller orders.

Please note the following important information regarding deliveries made by the Woodbrothers.

All deliveries made by the Woodbrothers will be considered heavyweight deliveries. Consequently, our transport company will typically use larger vehicles to make these deliveries. The car will have a tail lift, and the goods will, in most cases, be palletised.

Pallet Delivery

If you’re expecting a pallet delivery, kindly ensure you’re available on the day of delivery to receive it. Although the delivery is usually made to the kerbside, the drivers will do their best to place the pallet in the most convenient location for you. However, if you have clear instructions on where you would like the pallet placed, please let us know beforehand by using the ‘special instructions for seller’ section during checkout or by calling us directly on 083 3430450.

If you’re worried that a larger vehicle may have difficulty accessing your property or may be subject to road restrictions, please get in touch with Woodbrothers in advance before placing an order, and we’ll try to make alternative arrangements for you.

Please note that the pallet can only be placed on flat surfaces made of stone, concrete, or tarmac and must be free from manhole or service covers that can be accessed by a manual pallet truck. The driver cannot push the pallet up or down inclines or across grass or gravel pathways.

Woodbrothers is affiliated with one of the largest pallet networks that offers a whole track and trace facility and various services. However, as a road delivery service, it may be affected by matters beyond its control, such as road closures and traffic. We will try our best to keep you informed of any potential delays. It is important to note that this is an unguaranteed service, but we will make every effort to ensure your order is delivered on time.

Once you receive your order, it’s essential to inspect the packaging for any visible damage to the goods. Afterwards, sign for the safe arrival of your package. In the unfortunate event that you receive damaged goods or there are missing items, make sure to note it on the courier’s paperwork. We highly recommend you contact us directly as soon as possible so that we can be informed of the issue.

If we arrive with your order as scheduled, but we are unable to deliver due to your absence (and you haven’t previously agreed to unattended delivery at your own risk), or if there isn’t enough space for the vehicle to safely unload the goods using a tail lift with a maximum weight of 1000KG, you will be responsible for any extra costs incurred for the failed delivery and the goods either being returned or redelivered. The return delivery charge for unsuccessful deliveries incurs a minimum charge of €50 per pallet.

If you refuse delivery of undamaged goods, we reserve the right to charge you the total cost of returning the goods to us.

Orders received by 1 pm will be dispatched the same day (Mon-Thu). Delivery within 1-2 working days, excluding Bank Holidays. Friday and weekend orders will be dispatched on the next working day.

All pallets will be delivered to the kerbside as close as possible to the delivery address. After delivery, it will be the customer’s responsibility to move the product promptly and ensure that it does not block the carriageway or pavement.

Local authorities may take legal action if an obstruction is not cleared. It’s essential to keep in mind that Surefire Wood and its agents will not be held responsible for any obstruction. To ensure that the delivery process is smooth, it’s necessary to have access to your premises that is suitable for a 30ft (9.2m) heavy goods vehicle. This means that a fire engine should be able to reach the drop-off point if needed. If permits are required, it is the customer’s responsibility to obtain them. All goods will be transported in accordance with the RHA Conditions of Carriage 2020.
